US Penitentiary Volunteer Badge Training for First-Timers and Veterans

To attend the monthly Kairos reunions inside USP Lompoc, you must have a volunteer badge, issued by the Penitentiary. To earn and retain your badge, each year you must attend a volunteer training course given at the Lompoc Federal Prison complex by the Volunteer Coordinator's office. During the course, volunteers submit paperwork permitting a Federal background check.

The "new" volunteer training and some refresher trainings involve taking a photograph and fingerprints.
